We were pumped up and ready to field. Our opening bowler was Aamir who was bowling to Shane Watson. The first ball was pretty fast but not as fast at Lee's. It bounced up and hit the shoulder of the batsman. Good bouncer to start off. It shocked the batsmen. Aamir bowled the first over magnificently. He kept the pressure off by only letting them score 4 runs. Then i came onto ball. I placed the first ball beautifully. No run. However, the second ball was not as good as the first. It came down the leg side and David Warner sweeped it away for 4. Then he took a single. Now was the time for my plan i thought. I ran up like i was going to ball really fast but i didn't. I bowled a slow yorker which squeezed through the batsman's legs and knocked off the bails. We went crazy. Watson was out for 3.
Then came Ponting. We were a bit nervous about bowling to Ponting but we were still confident. I bowled full pitched ball which Ponting nicked and our wicketkeeper Maha dived. At first we thought that she had no chance. But because of the effort she put in she managed to get the ball between her fingertips. We had got Ponting for GOLDEN DUCK. 8/2. Unfortunately i missed my hat trick because Micheal Clarke whacked me for 4. Umair bowled his first over without any luck. Fazeel's over was no good either. My second over went for 14. There score mounted from 12/2 from 2 overs to 46/2 in 5 0vers. Micheal Clarke was on 20* and Warner on 16*.
Then our secret weapon came onto bowl. She was deceptively slow and made batsmen impatient. Munail bowled her first three bowls slowly. Then a little faster. It was hit for six by Warner. But the last ball was very slow and Warner was too impatient. He ran up and hit the ball straight to me. I caught it with ease. 53/4 from 6 overs. After 10 overs Australia had made a big partnership between Micheal Clarke 45* and David Hussey 20*.
10 OVERS... 89/4
Our captain Waseem sent in Umair to bowl another over. He used his spinner and mixed it with his pace. Clarke looked confused and didn't know how to play the ball. He tried the sweep but the ball hit his leg.
"HOWZAT!!!!!" the team screamed. We were all praying as the umpire thought about the appeal. In the end he had to agree that it was out and he slowly lifted his finger. Next batsman was Brad Haddin. Australia had decided to send in Micheal Hussey at the end. Haddin was not expecting the yorker that Umair bowled and got his leg in the way. Another LBW!
In came Brett Lee! Umair was on a hat trick. Umair had a plan. He tossed the ball in the air. To the batsmen it looked slow so Lee tried to hit it out of the park. He mistimed it and it went high in the air. Fazeel was right under it. He dived for it and we all held our breaths. Oh NO! Fazeel had dropped it. No hat trick...bad luck. Wait a minute... Fazeel had managed to scoop the ball back into the air. Again he swiped at the ball and this time he took the ball and put against his body. Hat trick!!!!! Umair and the rest of the team celebrated for a whole two minutes. After 12 overs it was 99/7. Aamir took another wicket and we were going crazy. We were going to beat an international team. After thirteen overs it was 110/8. Micheal Hussey joined his brother at the crease. Then disaster stuck!!
The two brothers had a big partnership and we were looking bad. Our coach and captain were shouting orders. With three overs left, they had 166/8. Then we brought on Waseem, our captain. He bowled two top spinners the an off spinner. Micheal Hussey was stunned and shocked. A googly nearly bowled him. Then he bowled a leg spinner. Micheal Hussey looked completely shocked. On the last bowl he just got the bat to it. It rolled past the wicket keeper for 4. 13 runs to win from 2 overs.
Aamir was smashed for two sixes as David Hussey reached 50. The other four bowls were good yorkers. There was one run to win and and an over to go. 2 wickets in hand. Australia had 182/8.
Waseem decided to take the over himself. He spun it to the off side. No run. The next spun the other way and Micheal Hussey tried to smash it. He nicked it straight into the hands of Maha. 182/9. 4 balls to go.
The googly stunned David Hussey. At the drinks break Mr. Azeem noticed the Aussie team trying to cheat again. They tried to super glue the bails on the wickets. CHEATS!!!! Luckily they were stopped again.
David Hussey had a plan. Waseem bowled a ball which was different then all the previous ones. It didn't spin at all. Hussey ran down the pitch and swung his bat and missed the ball. Luckily he was too far away from the crease to return and Maha grabbed the ball and knocked of the bails! We had won a thriller. Everyone was quiet for while. No one even breathed. But then we all went crazy. It was the most amazing game of our lives.
We had won against an international world champion... Australia!
The celebration continued. We partied all night long!!!! Our win was all over the news! Cheema was famous!!!!
Cheema Chargers 183/5

Grand Final Fever
It was the grand final of our cricket competition and we were up against the international team of Australia!
Yes! It was the Cheema Chargers vs Australia!
Our coach Mr. Azeem was shouting orders and kept us pumping. We had arrived at the stadium a bit early so we could practice for our big Final. It was a Twenty20 so me and Umair were practicing our big shots. Waseem our captain was practicing his spin bowling. He was really good at spinning. You didn't know what to expect. Sometimes, he bowled a topspinner or a googly or even a bowl which didn't even spin. He tricked us every time. He could bowl leg spin or off spin!
Waseem went down for the toss. The opposing captain, Ricky Ponting, had stuck an electric shocker on his hand. When Waseem shook hands he got a big electric shock. Waseem returned with a grin on his face. We were going to bat first. I was going to open with Umair.
Mr. Azeem told us to score at least 160 so we could fight. Me and Umair wanted a big opening partnership. We were both big hitters and wanted a partnership of at least 50!
We padded up and got ready to face the likes of Brett Lee and Ben Hifenhaus. Umair was facing and i was the non-striker. We were ready and confident.
Brett Lee steamed in and bowled around 150km/h. Umair just blocked back with ease. Next ball he simply hit it to the offside and took off for two runs. We had started our innings and were ready for big competition. After the first 2 overs we looked comfortable and started to play our shots. Our run rate went from 4.00 to 10.00 runs an over. We had 60 runs off 6 overs. Umair 35* and Me 24*. There had been one wide.
Then Lee bowled a no-ball. This was it. I was going to smash Lee for 4. The ball came at 152km/h and i belted it down the ground for 6! I couldn't believe my eyes! I had hit Brett Lee, the second fastest bowler in the world, for SIX! The crowd went bizarre. The TV crew had arrived to broadcast this match and i couldn't believe that thousands of people saw me hit Lee for six. Our partnership grew and we both reached our fifties. Then at 116 for 0, I tried to smash one over the bowler for six but nicked it instead. I was out for 60. Aamir came out next. He was a dangerous player and hit 4 sixes before getting caught out at the boundary. Waseem Cheema came next. We now had 150/2 from 18 overs. Umair desperately wanted his century. But what came next was unbelievable. A random spinner came on to bowl. Nobody had seen him! He was on debut. He was professional at spinning the ball and only gave away a six which was hit by Waseem. He also picked up three wickets. We were now on 156/5. Maha came to bat with Umair. Umair belted three sixes to reach his century before taking a single. Maha hit a four and then was the last ball. Mitchell Johnson pretended that he had hurt himself.
Ricky Ponting brought on an unusual bowler with three legs. Then our coach Mr. Azeem noticed that it was a bowling machine. Ponting had cheated so we couldn't make a run on the last ball. We complained to the umpire but he really didn't care. However, in the end we persuaded him to bowl the last ball again. This time Maha ran down the pitch and hit a beautiful drive for 4. We finished
off with 183/5! That was a massive score but we still had to bowl well to keep mighty Australia from reaching our score. We had made 27 runs in the last over. Mr. Azeem told us how we should field and pay attention. Then he gave the bowlers advice on how to keep Australia from scoring. I had a plan of yorkers! We had a big chance because of our bowling attack. Especially Waseem! After the pace we had our magnificent spinner. You couldn't tell what ball he would ball next. We were ready. Ready to fight for the trophy.
